1.3.5 Net Building Energy Use

Net building energy use is different from building energy consumption in that it takes into account the electricity generated from PV which is used to offset electricity demand. In other words, it provides the estimation of the eventual total building energy use assuming the energy produced on-site is used on-site immediately.
